At Grove Park Squash Club<\/strong> we have players from a vast range of abilities, ages (our oldest ever player played until the age of 88)<\/em>, and backgrounds. But whoever you are, you can choose from the range of different ways of playing to fulfill your squash requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


CLUB NIGHT<\/a>
Club night is on every Monday Evening (from 5.00pm ). These are opportunities for more social<\/a> squash. There is no need to pre-book, just come down, sign up on the sheet on the balcony and have 20 minute matches with a vast range of different players. With court fees of only \u00a31.25 per session, you’ll have plenty of money to spend in the bar afterwards.

LEAGUES<\/a>
A comprehensive internal box league system is run embracing all playing standards. It is powered by Squashlevels<\/a>. It allows you to quickly establish regular playing partners of a similar standard as well as new players to challenge you as you (hopefully) improve. As you will get a Squashlevels ranking you will be able track how you are playing. Each league generally contains five players and last one month. The leagues run right though the year for those wanting year round competitive squash. Leagues are open to all men and women members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RACKETBALL<\/a>
This is an area which we are looking to grow. We have new active internal Racketball box leagues powered by RBlevels.com<\/a>. So now you find out your level for racketball just like Squashlevels.
Rackets and ball are always available at the club to borrow so anybody can give it a try. If you’ve never tried it before, why not and give it a go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WOMEN<\/a>
Grove Park Squash Club has a keen, enthusiastic and growing ladies section, but we are constantly on the look out for ladies of all standards to join the club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We run our #Squashgirlscan<\/a> drop in sessions every Wednesday 7pm-8pm for beginners and intermediates. Part of the successful ‘ThisGirlCan’ national campaign, they are coached group sessions for women & girls only. Find out more<\/a> about these friendly, fun & supportive sessions.

The Ladies first team has been very successful over the years, winning numerous trophies including the Cheshire Ladies League Division One several times.

We have now entered a 2nd team into Division Two, which will give an accessible entry level into women’s team squash, giving everybody a chance to play at their own level.

There is also ample opportunity to play mixed squash in the internal club leagues, tournaments, club nights or to play on one of the NWCSL teams!

COMPETITIONS<\/a>
The club runs a number of tournaments and competitions throughout the year. Any club member is eligible to enter the competitions providing they meet the basic entry requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
