First Half Finale

The First Team’s last match of the year is against Heswall, who led the race for the league title for the first 9 weeks of the season. Another 5-0 win (but only just) against Chester last week has moved Grove Park up to 2nd place in the table with just 5 points separating the top 3. This week’s fixture promises to be a really good one. The highlight should be at No.1 where Laurence Delasaux who has raced back up the World rankings to No.79, up against Jamie Haycocks who has himself just broken into the World Top 100. With all the other strings looking well matched, this could well be a tight match.
