Grove Park Junior Closed Tournament 2017

Saturday 16th December

The tournament was an enjoyable and fun opportunity to close out 2017 with some competitive squash, giving many juniors the opportunity to showcase the considerable improvements they have made over the last year.

There was also a presentation at the end of the day, with some end of year awards being handed out by club chairman Andy Light and Mike Bradford who has also kindly donated the trophies..

They have been struggling so far this season but still have a powerful top order, lead by one of the best players in the league, Alan Clyne (he beat Whippy last year). Laurence Delasaux had a great game with him in the first half, just being over-powered in the fifth. He has improved massively since then, so will be looking to reverse that result.
