With the return of Lawrence Delasaux, who has just moved up to a career high of 72 in this month’s World Rankings, Grove Park were at full strength for their trip to Wigan Cricket. Wigan however, were missing their star players, which allowed Lawrence, Yawar Abbas and Morgan Hibberd to record straight game victories at the top of the order. …more »
Mixed fortunes at the Northern
Last week brought mixed fortunes for the team. They lost out 3-2 in a tough battle with The Northern but then league leaders , New Brighton slipped up against strugglers, Prestbury. That moved Northern past Grove Park into second place in the table, but leaves just five points dividing the top three teams. …more »
The first Team start the second half of the season just 2 points off the top of league. Their first match is at home versus local rivals, Prestbury. They have been struggling so far this season but still have a powerful top order, lead by one of the best players in the league, Alan Clyne (he beat Whippy last year). Laurence Delasaux had a great game with him in the first half, just being over-powered in the fifth. He has improved massively since then, so will be looking to reverse that result.

Super Sevens
The surprise of the season so far has been the incedible form of Grove Park 7. They managed to complete the first half of the season unbeaten and with a healthy 15 point lead at the top of the table.
Strong finish to the half
